Two more weeks until Halloween!!

So we tried something new at getting information out about events and beer releases, but I don't think it went over too well... So, back to what we were previously doing to let you all know what's up! :) 


This week:

Tuesday, Oct 17th:
* Continue the birthday celebrations at Red Crow Brewery (16th-29th)

* New Brew release at Rock & Run Brewery Creamsicle Nitro (11-close)

* Martin City Brewing Co's Alchemy Stout is BACK! Tapping today at The Burger Stand at the Casbah in Lawrence (3-6pm, happy hour)

* Pints for the Victory Project; celebrate SKC at Boulevard (5-7pm)

* The Business of Beer with Boulevard (5:30-8pm, will need tickets)

* Pig & Finch beer dinner w/Crane Brewing (6:30-10pm, will need tickets)

* Torn Label Tap Takeover at Tapcade NKC (7-11pm)

* Yankee Tank & Port Fonda LFK beer dinner (beginning at 7pm)

Wednesday, Oct 18th:
* Rye IPA tapping at Border Brewing (4-9pm)

* MCBC Alchemy happy hour at Bier Station (4-7pm)

* Free shirt night at Grains at Taps (7-10pm)

* Trivia vs Brewers (& owner & sales) at iTap Crossroads (beginning at 7pm)

Thursday, Oct 19th:
* MCBC tap takeover at Red Lyon Tavern LFK (beginning at 4pm)

* MCBC Alchemy launch at Waldo Pizza LS (5-8pm)

* New Brew at Crane Brewing (4-9pm, unknown beer at this time)

Friday, Oct 20th:
* S'mores and Pours at Vox Theater - Benefit for Camp Encourage (6-10pm, smoresandpours.com)

Saturday, Oct 21st:
* Yoga at Bier Station (11am-12pm)

* New Brew at Double Shift - Abby Royal (12-11:30pm)

* Calibration Beer Fest (12-4pm, need tickets)

* Special t-shirt release at Red Crow Brewing (12-10pm)

* Happy Basset first birthday bash @ Happy Basset Brewing Co (Topkea) (12pm-12am)

* Howl-o-ween patio party & costume contest at KCBC (2-6pm)

* Bier is Right Games & Brews at Bier Station (2-6pm)

* Crossroads Beer Fest (4-11:30pm)

Sunday, Oct 22nd:
* Bundle Up and Blanket Drive at BLVD Tours & Rec (10am-6pm)

* Wood & Wild at HopCat KC (11am-12am)

* Trivia at KCBC (1-2pm)

* Live Music at Stockyards Brewing (3-6pm)

Parlor KC

Last Saturday I had the amazing opportunity to try out Parlor. A new restaurant concept opening THIS FRIDAY in the Crossroads - 17th and Locust, behind Double Shift ;) It was quite the experience! Seven different restaurants to choose from, two full service bars (one upstairs and one downstairs), several areas to relax, an awesome patio upstairs, and beautiful murals throughout. I had a great time, to say the least. The food. WOW! Incredible. There is something for everyone's tastes there, even my kids' who can be pretty picky. Let's start with the downstairs. When you walk in you are greeted with lovely hosts but also great sitting spaces to just hang out, relax, enjoy. To the right is the living room area.
