There's a beer fest this weekend!!!

In case you haven't heard (from shares on our FB page) there is a beer fest this weekend, Saturday September 16th: Brewtopia/Festival of the Lost Township.

There are going to be several local breweries pouring as well as local homebrewers.  This is definitely a fest you do not want to miss out on!

Tuesday, September 12th:
* Prepare for Saturday's beer fest with a celebration week at Crane Brewing! (Come into The Taproom any day Tuesday-Friday and receive discounted pours with proof of ticket purchase.)

 * Tuesday Foosday at Boulevard w/Sporting KC (4-7pm)

* Hardcore Hop Sauce Release at Smoke Brewing Co (6-9pm).

Wednesday, September 13th:
* Fresh Hopped IPA release at Border Brewing (12-3pm)

* Trivia Night at Smoke Brewing (8-10pm)

Thursday, September 14th: 
* Martin City Brewing happy hour at Sierra Grill (4-7pm)

* Kitten Shower at Cinder Block Brewery, benefiting KC Pet Project Foster Program (6-8pm)

* CryoHarvest Firkin Tapping on the porch at Free State Brewing Co. (6-8pm)

* Stockyards & Cinder Block breweries beer collab at Conrad's (7-10pm) - get tickets here!

Friday, September 15th:
* Live music at Brewery Emperial, beginning at 7pm

* Live music at Stockyards Brewery, beginning at 7pm

Saturday, September 16th:
* Brewtopia/Festival of the Lost Township (1-4pm)

* Yogi Beer Project w/Free State Brewing (10am-12pm), get tickets here!

Sunday, September 17th: 
* KC Bier Co fundraiser and adoption day, benefiting Humane Society (1-5pm)

Parlor KC

Last Saturday I had the amazing opportunity to try out Parlor. A new restaurant concept opening THIS FRIDAY in the Crossroads - 17th and Locust, behind Double Shift ;) It was quite the experience! Seven different restaurants to choose from, two full service bars (one upstairs and one downstairs), several areas to relax, an awesome patio upstairs, and beautiful murals throughout. I had a great time, to say the least. The food. WOW! Incredible. There is something for everyone's tastes there, even my kids' who can be pretty picky. Let's start with the downstairs. When you walk in you are greeted with lovely hosts but also great sitting spaces to just hang out, relax, enjoy. To the right is the living room area.
