Third week of July events!

So here is a compiled list of events around town that you may be interested in partaking. There's some Martin City Brewing Co tastings, some yoga, new tapping's, and a beer/food pairing.

July 17, Monday -
* MCBC Tasting at Grinder's Stonewall 7-9pm - Taste Beering paired expertly with Martin City brews. Seating is limited so make a point to contact Grinder's Stonewall today to reserve your spot. Call: (913) 888-2000

July 18, Tuesday - 
* BLVD tasting at Rimman Liquors Prairie Village 4:30-6:30pm - specific Boulevard beers, unknown which means it is a surprise and you should go to see! :)

July 19, Wednesday - 
* MCBC beer yoga at Grinders High Noon 5:30pm - RSVP as soon as you can and bring your yoga mat, we'll take care of the rest. Come experience the international phenomenon that is a casual, fun yet peaceful sensation merging two great loves between beer and yoga. Then stay for a brew or few with Team MCBC!

July 20, Thursday - 
* Nitro Dry Stout tapping at Crane Brewing 4-close - YUM! You don't want to miss out on this creamy, velvety brew!

* Cinder Block Hop Maven beer release AND food pairing at Ruins Pub 6-8pm - The Hop Maven 8; Imperial Red IPA hits the market for the first time ever at Ruin's Pub! Enjoy several discounted Cinder Block Brews alongside the Hop Maven. Chef Daniel has created special food pairings for each brew!

* Belgian Independence Day Celebration at Grains & Taps 6-8pm - Join BLVD Jeremy Danner & Steven Pauwels in a discussion on Belgian beers. Stay for some tasty brews by BLVD!

July 22, Saturday - 
* Torn Label & Double Shift breweries anniversary parties - PARTIES START AT 12PM!!

Parlor KC

Last Saturday I had the amazing opportunity to try out Parlor. A new restaurant concept opening THIS FRIDAY in the Crossroads - 17th and Locust, behind Double Shift ;) It was quite the experience! Seven different restaurants to choose from, two full service bars (one upstairs and one downstairs), several areas to relax, an awesome patio upstairs, and beautiful murals throughout. I had a great time, to say the least. The food. WOW! Incredible. There is something for everyone's tastes there, even my kids' who can be pretty picky. Let's start with the downstairs. When you walk in you are greeted with lovely hosts but also great sitting spaces to just hang out, relax, enjoy. To the right is the living room area.
